"I am an educator with a Masters in Administration, I have worked with students for the past 9 years.

Grade six is my teaching grade because that is the year my life turned into a negative life. At the age of 13, I began to drink and chose to run away from home, and in return, I became pregnant, at the age of 15, in an abusive relationship. The reason why I chose grade six is because I want to be the person that I would have wanted or needed when I was in grade six. I would like to show the students that there is something more out there than the life I chose to lead. Which is why. 

I like to take my students to the mountains, to show them there is a bigger world out there. To me, the mountains represent a sense of healing in our Native Culture. My students did not get to go to the mountains this year, so I decided to get them to create there own designs. CUSTOM DESIGNS. Rhonda Thomas.
